This course offers an introduction to the Positive Behavioural Support(PBS)
which is used increasingly in mental health services. Positive Behavioural
Support is used when someone’s behaviour is challenging the people
around them and affecting their quality of life. This course explores how
Positive Behavioural Support works. It looks at how it might help you or
someone you know or work with.

This course was developed by Stephen Davison, Lead Nurse, Positive and Safe
team. It has been updated by Tony Ashton, Group Analytic Psychotherapist.
This course is made up of ten lessons.

This course will take about one and a half to two and a half hours to complete. This timing will depend on how fast you read and how long you spend on the questions. You do not need to complete the whole course in one go, you can take a break at any point. If you leave and come back to the course it will remember where you got
up to.
